Description
Our B+E trailer training is perfect if you have never towed before or would like to gain more experience in towing. Although, following the government guidelines, you no longer need to complete a practical test to tow a trailer, our B + E Trailer Training can help build your confidence in towing before you hit the road. This training will enable you to tow up to a maximum of 3.5 tonnes. This means, for example, that if your vehicle is 1.5 tonnes, you can tow up a further 2 tonnes, depending on your car’s towing capacity.
About B+E Trailer Training
- This Trailer Training is carried out on a one to one basis with the vehicle and trailer provided where required.
- You will receive a Competency Certificate on completion of the course
- Available as hourly sessions
- Additional hours can be purchased as needed
- Local training in Gillingham
What does the course cover?
During the course, you will learn:
- Driving skills such as on road positioning
- Turning the vehicle and trailer at junctions safely
- Reversing skills
- How to hitch and unhitch the trailer safely.
What will I gain from this training?
- Understanding of how to manoeuvre a vehicle and trailer
- Confidence in towing a trailer, caravan or horsebox on roads
- Experience in towing on the roads with a skilled and knowledgeable instructor
